Reporting/Orientation Instructions for Core Clerkships
Introduction
Make sure to review the instructions for your core clerkships thoroughly. Many clerkships and sites have two (2) orientation dates and immunization/form requirements that must be submitted prior to your rotation start date.
Clerkship Site Switch
A student-for-student site switch allows two (2) students scheduled for the same clerkship to switch sites, as long as the student distribution is not changed. All student-for-student switch requests must be submitted at least six (6) weeks prior the clerkship start date using the Student Scheduling Request Form. Both students are required to submit a request. Please be sure to select the “Site Switch (M3 Clerkship)” option on the form. The switch will not be processed if the students are scheduled for different clerkships.
