Updated: 4/24/23

The program focuses on the care of pediatric and adults with congenital and acquired craniofacial conditions.  Emphasis is on the interdisciplinary team approach for the evaluation and treatment of these patients.  The student will work under the tutelage of the center’s former director and will interact with team members representing medical and dental specialties and allied health professions. (pediatrics, plastic/craniofacial surgery, prosthodontics, nursing, speech pathology, audiology, genetics counseling, anaplastology, orthodontics, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, psychology)

The student will observe and assist in the evaluation of patients; both those being planned for care and for patients already undergoing treatment.  The program includes clinical care, operating room experience and will be augmented with seminars in plastic surgery and other specialties related to patient care in The Craniofacial Center.
