Lectures given by a general cardiology fellow reviewing interesting cases with a discussion facilitated by an echo attending.
EKG Conference/Board Review
Attending physicians lead a review of EKG interpretation from basic to advanced principles, and review EKG examples and multiple-choice questions to prepare fellows for general cardiology boards and for clinical practice.
Electrophysiology Conference
This weekly conference offers attending and fellow-led didactics on all major topics in electrophysiology. Once monthly, the general fellow on the EP consult service presents a complex clinical case or journal club article for discussion. A second conference series presented by the EP advanced fellow highlights interesting or complex EP cases, with in-depth analysis on interpretation of intracardiac electrograms, mechanisms and pathophysiology of complex arrhythmia, and nuances of device placement and troubleshooting.
Evidence-Based Medicine/Journal Club
Fellows are instructed in the basics of clinical trial design and how to critically appraise literature. Interesting original research articles are presented by a general fellow and moderated by a faculty member.
Fellows’ Boot Camp

Special emphasis is placed on what the fellow will need to know when on call.
Grand Rounds
This monthly lecture series consists of distinguished outside speakers invited to present on topics ranging from basic research to the cutting edge of clinical practice, with opportunities for fellows and faculty alike to network with these speakers.
Morbidity and Mortality Conference
