Consulting Services Heading link
CDIS offers formal study design-related consulting by appointment for researchers, either in a 1-on-1 or group setting according to each investigator’s need and preference. Areas of consultation include (but are not limited to):
- Grant review
- Implementation framework/theory selection
- Methodological guidance
- Implementation measure selection
Consultations will be scheduled as needed.
- For time-sensitive projects that require immediate consultation, please contact us at cdis@uic.edu.
- For grant-related consultations, we will request materials two weeks in advance.
- For non-grant related consultation, we will request materials one week in advance.
If you are interested in a CDIS consultation, please complete a short intake form. A CDIS team member will follow-up within one week to schedule an appointment.
Professional Development & Works in Progress Seminar Heading link
Participation is open to everyone.
Please join us for monthly Professional Development and Works in Progress (WIP) seminar where faculty, staff, students, and others interested in dissemination and implementation-related research can:
- Share their work
- Receive feedback about ideas
- Explore potential partnerships
- Learn about a professional development topic relevant to junior faculty, postdoctoral research associates, and graduate students.
Presentations are 30 – 45 minutes followed by discussion. Potential topics include (but are not limited to):
- Early-stage research ideas
- Grant proposal development
- Formative findings of currently funded work
- Managing your online academic presence
- IRB tips and tricks
- Successful collaboration with community partners

THIRD Monday of every month from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, virtual via Zoom
