The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at UIC offers 1-3 fellowship positions each year for highly qualified physicians dedicated to obtaining the highest quality training in all aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology. The training occurs in the shadow of one of the most beautiful cities in the United States, providing the trainee and their family with amazing opportunities.
Molecular Training in Gastroenterology Program Heading link
The MTGP provides advanced training in experimental approaches to discover disease mechanisms and explore molecular targets of more efficient treatment of GI disorders. The training program also offers clinical trainees a unique opportunity to develop the necessary skills to apply basic science knowledge to developing novel approaches for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Gastrointestinal disorders.
