Our accomplished Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Director of Emergency Ultrasound Research, Dr. Pavitra Kotini-Shah, participated in an AHA-hosted panel at the Women Deliver conference (the largest global conference for women/girls empowerment) in Kigali, Rwanda, in July. Dr. Kotini-Shah spoke about gender disparities in acute cardiovascular conditions and showcased the first female manikin by Worldpoint, which we now use in all our community trainings.
