The Department of Emergency Medicine offers four specialized fellowship programs in diverse sub-specialties of emergency medicine.

We offer four fellowships: Advanced Resuscitation, Emergency Ultrasound, Toxicology, and Social & Global Emergency Medicine. Research Resuscitation Fellowship

Specialized program in cutting-edge clinical and translational research, focusing on cardiac arrest (Out-of-Hospital and In-Hospital), innovative ultrasound applications, and collaborative work with the Center for Cardiovascular Resuscitation.
Medical Toxicology Fellowship

The Toxikon Consortium offers a prestigious two-year Medical Toxicology Fellowship in partnership with the University of Illinois Chicago, Cook County Hospital, and the Illinois Poison Control Center.
Social and Global Emergency Medicine Fellowship

A two-year post-graduate fellowship that trains and develops emergency physician leaders dedicated to improving health equity.
Ultrasound Fellowship

A comprehensive one-year fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound that combines didactic education, quality assurance training, clinical research, and extensive hands-on experience.
