Dr. Chamberlain has done clinical, educational, public-health, disaster-response, and emergency medicine development work, including working with several globally-focused NGOs, spanning five continents. She is one of the founding members of Global Emergency Care, a non-profit organization dedicated to building capacity in emergency care in Uganda. Her research focuses on quality improvement of emergency care in low-resource settings, and she has dedicated much of her career to educating and training students and resident physicians to improve global health equity.
