About the Program Heading link
The Women’s Health Research (WHR) Associates Program is an internally funded mentorship program which supports up to two Associates a year and extends the reach of the BIRCWH. WHR Associates receive identical mentoring as the BIRCWH Scholars, but receive funding 75% protected time from their Deans in cost sharing. They must meet the same criteria for selection as the BIRCWH Scholars, and must protect 75% of time (50% for surgeons) for research activities related to women’s health or sex/gender-based health research. The BIRCWH Scholars and Mentors rated the WHR Associates Program as a great strength that enhances our interdisciplinary network.
