What I Love About UIC: I love the friendly and supportive environment at UIC! Starting intern year in a new city is pretty scary but having such incredible people willing to guide me has made my transition here a lot easier. I also love the huge med-peds presence at UIC and the diversity of pathways residents/attendings have taken within the field. I especially value the patient population we have the privilege of treating at UIC; the large underserved population allows us to learn and address the social factors that affect our patient’s long-term care.
