Dr. Jiang's research focuses on intestinal physiology, metabolism, and the microbiome. Her primary project explores intestinal tissue regeneration and the impact of formula feeding and gut microbes on neonatal gut metabolism. To investigate these processes, she employs advanced techniques such as single-cell sequencing, RNA sequencing, and full-length16S rRNA sequencing. Driven by a commitment to unravel the complexities of intestinal biology, Dr. Jiang utilizes animal models and cell/organoid cultures in her studies. Additionally, she has applied a broad range of methodologies in her research, including in situ hybridization, spectral flow cytometry, lipidomics, and metabolomics, among others.
