Dr. Silvana Carr is a pediatric infectious diseases physician in the Department of Pediatrics at UI Health. Dr. Carr’s clinical interests include infectious diseases in immunocompromised patients, antimicrobial stewardship, and pediatric immunizations. Her main academic focus is educational science, specifically medical education management, with the ultimate goal of improving the level of competence of trainees and enhancing patient safety in a setting of restraints of time and resources.
