Center For Pediatric Translational Research And Education
Established in 2022, the Center for Pediatric Translational Research and Education (CPTRE) offers cutting-edge infrastructure to bridge basic and translational research within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Medicine. CPTRE serves as a hub for collaborative bench-to-bedside research activities spanning all disciplines within the Department of Pediatrics. CPTRE facilitates interactions among various pediatric research groups in the department. Moreover, CPTRE plays a pivotal role in fostering the training of the next generation of investigators and scientists in both basic and translational pediatric research. Its members are committed to swiftly translating fundamental scientific discoveries into treatments aimed at enhancing child health.
