The Division of Interventional Radiology consists of 6 full-time IR faculty who are committed to excellence in patient care, medical student and resident education, and clinical/translational IR research.

How to Apply Heading link

The UI COM Interventional Radiology Residency program participates in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Applications are only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

  • Completed applications and supporting documents (personal statement, curriculum vitae, transcript from medical school, three letters of recommendation, Dean’s letter, and a photograph) should be submitted via ERAS.
  • USMLE Step 1 is required.
  • We do not require USMLE Step 2 scores but do consider these scores if available.
