About

Dr. Tseng received her MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency at Cohen Children's Hospital and her pediatric critical care fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. During her fellowship, she developed a mobile educational application to enhance residents’ efficacy in the pediatric intensive care unit. Her extensive training includes managing acute respiratory failure with various ventilation techniques and renal failure with continuous renal replacement therapy. Dr. Tseng is also certified in bronchoscopy and peripherally inserted central catheter placement. Previously, she served as a pediatric intensivist lead at Carle Foundation Hospital, where she contributed to the development of multiple evidence-based guidelines for pediatric inpatient care. Additionally, she served as the assistant pediatric clerkship director at Carle Illinois Medical College. Dr. Tseng's interests lie in health informatics, medical education, policy-making, and seeking to better characterize diabetic ketoacidosis with hyperosmolarity in the pediatric population. In her new role as Pediatric Liaison for the Clinical Informatics Department, Dr. Tseng will serve as a bridge between pediatric healthcare professionals and digital health technology. Her aim is to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration, ultimately improving patient care and outcomes.
