Career Aspirations/Interests: I think I would love being a Med-Peds Hospitalist but I’m also open to fellowship – not quite sure which field yet. I’d also like to dedicate a portion of my time to global public health work, transitions of care, and health systems research.
Current Extracurriculars/Research: Currently, I’m on the board of a non-profit based in Boston called Our Bodies Ourselves a reproductive health advocacy organization. Some of the research I’ve done has focused on maternal/child health, HIV/safer conception care, and mental health.
Hobbies: Traveling, Reading, Yoga, Exploring museum/music/arts/restaurant scene in new cities!
What I Love About UIC: The people have been incredibly kind! Moving to a new city for residency was made far less overwhelming by so many supportive and welcoming people.
