Dr. Shannon Murphy practices in the Department of Pediatrics at UI Health. - Collaborated with Lurie Childrens and University of Chicago on Project INITIATE to evaluate the wait time for neonates that automatically qualify for Early Intervention and if the delay in therapy effects development in the infant.
- Participated in multihospital study led by Better Outcomes through Research for Newborns (BORN) Network that looked at marijuana use and breastfeeding, the knowledge, attitudes and practices of new mothers.
