Dr. Kimberly Czech has been practicing for more than 16 years since completing her fellowship. Her current research interests are in discovering the genetic causes of Pediatric Kidney diseases and use of genetic tools for diagnosing kidney diseases. Her translational research tools are in diagnosing pediatric kidney disease in the outpatient clinical setting. Her previous research interests were focused on understanding the pathophysiology of FSGS using laser-capture microarray tools. Her clinical expertise is in diagnosis and treatment of common pediatric kidney conditions including single kidney, hydronephrosis, hypertension, glomerulonephritis and kidney transplants. Dr. Czech specialize in the treatment of complex nephrotic syndrome. Her clinic provides 24hr ambulatory blood pressure monitoring testing for diagnosing hypertension in pediatric patients.
