About
Maria Isabel Angulo, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics. She earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She then completed her Medical degree and MedPeds residency training at UIC. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, minority health and health equity, and women’s health. Her academic interests include medical education and public health. Dr. Angulo supervises residents in the Internal Medicine and Pediatric outpatient resident clinics and Medicine wards.
