About
Dr. Saeed joined the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences in 2022 as a Visiting Associate Professor, with a specialty in Cornea and Refractive Surgery and a focus on the pediatric population.
Dr. Saeed is internationally recognized as an expert on Stevens Johnson syndrome (SJS) and has an NIH grant focusing on the genetics and epidemiology of SJS. In addition, she and her team of researchers are working on novel diagnostic methods for various corneal pathology through machine learning, corneal collagen crosslinking in pediatric patients, and sustainable eye banking in the developing world.
