About
Manav earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Mumbai, India where he worked in the Nair Cancer Laboratory. He completed his MS Biotechnology thesis in the field of pancreatic cancer as a member of the Altomare Lab at the University of Central Florida. He is driven by the bench-to-bedside philosophy and has a deep interest in pharmacology research. Manav joined the Kazlauskas lab to pursue his PhD thesis research, which entails testing the hypothesis that resilience to diabetic retinopathy involves protection from diabetes-driven senescence.
