Biographical Info:
Dr. Radhika Sreedhar provides patient centered care with a focus on preventive medicine. She has held leadership roles and is engaged in both undergraduate and graduate medical education. Her current research is centered around the evaluation of curriculum effectiveness for medical students in the areas of evidence-based medicine, patient discharge from the hospital and artificial intelligence in medicine. In the College of Medicine Chicago, she is the Director of Curricular Integration and the Block Director for the Body systems and Homeostasis course. As the Sub theme leader for Evidence Based Medicine, she helps shape the curriculum for evidence-based medicine for all the three campuses of the University of Illinois, College of Medicine. A member of the Senate Committee of Educational Policy of the University of Illinois and a Board member of the Drug Utilization Review Board, State of Illinois, Health Care and Family Services, she is engaged in the University Senate External Education subcommittee and drug utilization review for managed care services of the State of Illinois. A founding member of the 21st Century Good Neighbor™ program, she works to facilitate conversations between student volunteers and seniors in Illinois.
