About

Clinical Interests:
Dr. Mikolajczyk is a practicing hepatologist with a clinical focus on the inpatient management of cirrhosis, complications of portal hypertension, and other chronic liver diseases, including post-liver transplant care.

Research Interests:
Dr. Mikolajczyk is a medical educator with a research focus on systematically studying innovations within subspecialty medical education, mentorship, and the professional identity formation of trainees as learners. Of special interest to him is designing and studying hepatology-focused curricular interventions within undergraduate and graduate medical education.
