About
Ms. Krishnakumar is in her second year of medical school. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago with a minor in sociology. Her mentor is Lewis Hsu, MD, PhD, and her research focused on the “Efficacy impact of documenting Individualized Pain Plans in EPIC.”
Upon completing her fellowship, Ms. Krishnakumar presented her research at the November 2023 UIC College of Medicine Research Day. She is currently a 2024 UIC James Scholar, an Independent Study Program where she continues working alongside her mentor.
