About
Dr. Khalil Ibrahim practices in the Division of Cardiology at UI Health. Dr. Ibrahim specializes in structural and coronary interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR); transcatheter mitral valve repair and replacement (MitraClip, TMVR); left atrial appendage closure; and interventions for congenital defects, such as patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defects (ASD). In addition to structural heart interventions, he specializes in the diagnose and treatment of complex blockages in the coronary arteries using minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Ibrahim also has a clinical interest in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and its treatment, and the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease in women.
