Why UIC for fellowship: UIC was an easy choice for fellowship! The people that I interacted with during my interview day made it obvious that everyone here wants you to succeed. The fellows are extremely kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming, and the program allows us to learn from amazing mentors who are passionate about the field. Additionally, living in Chicago gives us access to a diverse patient population to address care from all backgrounds and socioeconomic levels.
