Personal Statement:
Dr. Thomas Esposito, D.O. is a board-certified internal medicine physician who practices inpatient (hospital) medicine at University of Illinois Health. His clinical interests included addiction medicine and point of care ultrasound at the patient bedside. His academic interests include medical student and resident education, specifically with a focus on clinical reasoning and the integration of point of care ultrasound into daily practice. Dr. Esposito also volunteers as the Director of Education and street medicine provider for Chicago Street Medicine, a non-for-profit organization who provides care for persons experiencing homelessness.
