Dr. Ahmed is a practicing Interventional Gastroenterologist with a clinical focus on endoscopic bariatric therapies.
Research Interest:
Dr. Ahmed’s research interest focus on endoscopic bariatric therapies and their correlation with improvement in metabolic profile and liver disease. He is also interested in evaluating how healthcare disparities play a role in access to bariatric procedures, sustaining weight loss after bariatric procedures, and cost effectiveness of endoscopic bariatric therapies.
