About
Ms. Ene has a strong academic and research background, including a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bioinformatics and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics, both from Loyola University Chicago. She has employment experience as a research assistant working in microbiology on the wet lab bench as an undergraduate and exploring the distinction between bacteria in the urogenital tract as a graduate student. She has contributed to 15 publications and has presented at multiple national conferences. Ms. Ene’s mentor is Cemal Yazici, MD, MS, and her research project focuses on the “concentration of gut microbiome and microbial metabolites to acute pancreatitis severity.”
