Download iCal FileThe Illinois Heart Rescue Project (ILHR), a key initiative within the UIC College of Medicine Emergency Department, is excited to announce the return of "Cubs Heart Rescue Day" at Wrigley Field. This unique and impactful event aims to increase survival rates for out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OHCA). This multidisciplinary effort brings together the ILHR team and the Chicago Cubs to empower fans with life-saving skills. Fans at the game will be able to learn critical bystander response skills, including CPR and AED use, in a quick and engaging format.
Join us at the ballpark to make a difference in your community—learn how to save a life while cheering on the Cubs! Don't miss this incredible opportunity to be part of a large-scale public health initiative designed to maximize impact and improve outcomes for cardiac arrest victims.
