6th Annual GEMS Research Symposium

Friday, September 30, 2022

We would like to welcome the UIC research community to our 6th annual GEMS Research Symposium, which will take place entirely in-person at the Student Center West (SCW) on Friday, September 30th, 2022. Originally conceived in 2016, the GEMS Research Symposium is an entirely student-driven initiative, offering a chance to showcase the research of graduate students in the GEMS (Graduate Education in bioMedical Sciences) program, as well as students in UIC’s biomedical research community.

On this page, you will find the link to our virtual abstract book, which includes details regarding the event schedule, student talks and posters, keynote speaker (Dr. Elisabeth Bik), and GEMS alumni panel.
