Dr. Boucher-Berry completed medical school and residency at the State University of New York, Brooklyn; and her fellowship at Cohen Children’s Medical Center. She is board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatrics. Dr. Boucher-Berry’s interest in Pediatric Endocrinology comes from experiencing family members living with diabetes. Dr. Boucher-Berry has published articles and posters on Vitamin D Deficiency, short stature, and obesity. She is a member of the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society and Endocrine Society.

Roxana L. Aguirre Castaneda, MD

Dr. Aguirre completed medical school at the University Cayetano Heredia School of Medicine in Peru, her residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Chicago; and her fellowship at Mayo Clinic. She is board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatrics and she has clinical expertise in adrenal gland disorders, diabetes, obesity, hyper/hypothyroidism, growth disorders, and precocious puberty. Additionally, she is fluent in Spanish.

Carla Minutti, MD

Dr. Minutti completed medical school at the University of Anahuac School of Medicine in Mexico, her residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center, and her fellowship at Mayo Clinic. She is board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology and Pediatrics and she has clinical expertise in adrenal gland disorders, diabetes, endocrine disorders, obesity, hyper/hypothyroidism, pituitary disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and thyroid disease. Additionally, she is fluent in Italian and Spanish.

Sylvia M. Robinson, MD

Dr Robinson completed medical school at the University Of Chicago Pritzker School Of Medicine, her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center, and her fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Rush University Medical Center. Her research interest include Prediabetes awareness and risk reduction behaviors among caregivers of youth with prediabetes. 

Sarah F. Shaaban, MD

Dr. Shaaban completed medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine, pediatrics residency at Rush University Medical Center, and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at the University of Chicago. Her interests include diabetes, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, obesity, thyroid disease, and quality improvement. Dr. Shaaban joins us as the newest member of the Pediatric Endocrinology faculty.
