From the Womb

From the womb came the head,
Full of mucous and blood.
In disgust of this world,
So cold and immaterial.
She came out purple and blue,
Emitting a terrenal scream,
Crying for her lost solitude,
Crying for the incipient future.
This little beauty appeared,
While her mother exclaimed:
“It is easier to give birth
Than to have to raise them!”
From the womb came the head,
Full of mucous and blood,
Miracle of life, essence of hope…
