Poem to my testicle
(modeled after “Poem to my uterus” by Lucille Clifton)
you testicle
you have been dangling
in a sack
while I have drawn out of you
my many little homunculi
now
I’m going to disconnect you
germs that I do not need
’cause I used too many
just how many
old boy
without you
testicle
my precious nad
my testosterone spigot
my globus mass of manhood
where I can go
in boxers
unattached
where can you go
intra-inguinal
