The University of Illinois Physicians Group (UIPG), also known as the Medical Service Plan (MSP), is responsible for the medical school’s clinical practice activities.
Collaboration with our colleagues and community members and harnessing innovation in technology and research is how we transform healthcare, address health inequities, and change health outcomes, particularly in historically underserved neighborhoods.

Bylaws
A set of bylaws governs the operation of the UI Physicians Group. The existing bylaws were last revised in 2007; a copy can be found here. For several months, a small group has been revising these bylaws. The MSP Executive Committee and the full MSP Board of Directors have reviewed and endorsed their proposed revisions. The next step in the review process is to present the revised bylaws to the entire membership of the Medical Service Plan. If supported by the MSP membership, the final step is for presentation to the University of Illinois Board of Trustees.
