Since accreditation in 1980, The Maternal-Fetal-Medicine (MFM) Fellowship Training Program at University of Illinois College of Medicine has a long history of excellence in discovering and training prominent academic leaders in our subspecialty. Our Program is approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and combines exceptional clinical training in High-Risk Obstetrics with a wide array of opportunities in basic science, clinical and translational research.

Clinical and research training is at the core of our mission. Our clinical and research educators have outstanding experience in management of high-risk pregnancy, ultrasound and prenatal diagnostic invasive procedures (amniocentesis, CVS, cordocentesis). State of the art methodologies including high throughput molecular technologies such as genomics and transcriptomics are used to test and provide answers to novel research hypotheses.

Our vision is that a highly collaborative environment is ideal for fostering and enhancing the clinical and research interests of our fellows. The University of Illinois at Chicago MFM Fellowship Training Program is highly competitive and attracts outstanding and accomplished applicants. We are looking forward to receiving and reviewing your application.
