About
Dr. Osta is an internal medicine and pediatrics trained physician, and cares for both adult and pediatric patients. She served as the pediatric residency program director for 10 years where she helped to create a national American Academic of Pediatrics curriculum on Resiliency in the Face of Grief of Loss. She has won multiple teaching awards, including the 2020 Academic Pediatric Association Teaching Faculty Award. In 2020, she became the Assistant Dean of Advising of Career Planning, and she oversaw the creation and implementation of the Physician House Advising system on the Chicago campus. In 2022, she was promoted to Associate Dean for Medical Education on the Chicago campus.
Research Interest: Dr. Osta’s primary research interests are qualitative research, curriculum creation, and screening for unmet social needs and adverse childhood experiences in a pediatric clinics.
