Starting her career at UIC as a standardized patient with inhalation anthrax poisoning, Laura moved into the role of standardized patient coordinator and now assistant director of human based simulation. Simulation has taken Laura to all corners of the world including India, Ireland and Indianapolis! A graduate of Northwestern University, Laura worked in arts education prior to becoming a standardized patient coordinator. She continues to write and perform in her copious spare time.
