About
Bob Kiser (he/him) has worked in healthcare simulation for over 25 years at the University of Illinois in Chicago and currently serves as Associate Director of UIC's Simulation and Integrative Learning Institute. He is also an instructor for the Association of Standardized Patient Educator’s Foundations Course and an active member in the organization. Along with his work at SAIL, Bob is a mediator with UIC’s Dispute Resolution group, under the Office of Access and Equity. There, his main interest lies in colleague-to-colleague conflict resolution, especially in healthcare settings. In his “copious free-time,” Bob is an author, speaker, and was the host of his own radio show “Perfect Detours ” on Chicago’s WHGC 98.3 FM. Finding each person’s authentic voice and navigating the journey of their personal growth is what fuels Bob’s passion and is the guiding north star for all the work he does.
