About
Brook Celeste (she/they) has been in the medical simulation field for eight years, working in schools around Chicago, as a Standardized Patient, Simulated Patient, Practical Instructor, Skills Instructor, and Gynecological Teaching Associate. In her work as a Standardized Patient Coordinator Brook loves helping people connect with and communicate clearly about their experiences. Brook has a background of community organizing, insight meditation and fringe performance. They have lived many lives including on a mountain in California, in a yurt in Ithaca, and in a tent on a farm in Texas. Brook now lives with an orange cat named Henry in a Rogers Park studio and plans on staying in Chicago for the long haul.
