Laura has been involved with the Simulation and Integrative Learning Institute (SAIL) since 2005, beginning as a Standardized Patient before moving into the role of Standardized Patient Coordinator and now Assistant Director. Prior to joining SAIL, Laura was a teaching artist for such arts advocacy groups as Urban Gateways, After School Matters, and Barrel of Monkeys. She conducted theater and dramatic writing residencies with CPS students and also led professional development workshops. Laura is a graduate of Northwestern University and continues to write and perform.
