The Department of Medicine hosted its annual Scholarly Activities Day on March 7th. The theme for the day was Innovations in Clinical and Basic Science  Dr. Kathy Griendling, Professor of Medicine, at Emory University was the keynote speaker who gave a talk entitled Poldip2, Nox4, and Vascular Disease. The day featured 91 poster presentations, 5 oral presentations and a poster competition in the following categories; Staff, Student, Resident, Fellow/Postdoc, and Junior Faculty.
