Dr. Thompson’s interest in global health has spanned over many years. During college, she participated in my first international research experience and I’ve been trying to incorporate this work into my career ever since. She currently participates in global health mission/education trips, international collaboration, resident education, and philanthropy. In addition, Dr. Thompson is leading the newly formed Global Health Division for the department of anesthesiology.
