Kate Craemer, MPH, is a Senior Research Specialist at the Center for Research on Women and Gender (CRWG). Kate received her Master of Public Health degree in Maternal and Child Health and Community Health Science from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2021. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Gender and Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Kate’s research interests include maternal morbidity and mortality, social determinants of health, and empowering pregnant persons to have positive birth experiences and healthy outcomes. Kate is also passionate about conducting community-informed qualitative and quantitative research, evaluation, and quality improvement to advance health equity.
