Dr. Almudena Veiga-Lopez, DVM, PhD
We are a reproductive toxicology lab investigating how environmental chemicals impact the placenta and ovary. Through developmental and reproductive toxicology (DART) studies, we use cutting-edge approaches—including in vitro models, 3D microfluidic platforms, and high-resolution imaging—to uncover how chemical exposures disrupt reproductive function. Our work provides critical insights into mechanisms of toxicity, advancing our understanding of environmental risks to fertility and pregnancy.
