About

Dr. Wheatley provides expert obstetric care for low and moderate risk pregnancies. She also provides gynecologic care including contraception and sexual health care, medical and procedural/surgical management of complex gynecologic conditions, and health maintenance exams. Dr. Wheatley is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is actively involved in medical student and OBGYN residency education.

Dr. Wheatley is the current OBGYN residency program director and serves as the Co-Chair for the Phase 2/3 Management Committee for the College of Medicine. In 2018, Dr. Wheatley received the CREOG Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education. In 2019, she was awarded the OBGYN Rising Star Award and Golden Apple Faculty Teaching Award. In 2020, she was the recipient of the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award.
