About
Dr. Jayaram graduated medical school from the Rural Medical College, Loni, India, followed by OB/Gyn residency training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Queens, NY. She completed her Masters in Biomedical Science and fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi.
She has, to her credit, 16 publications in peer-reviewed journals, and 9 poster presentations at national and international meetings. Her research interests include translational clinical and basic science research focusing on addressing pregnancy complications such as level of autophagy and immune activation in peripheral blood mononuclear cells in pregnant women.
Dr. Jayaram sees women with high risk pregnancies, fetal anomalies, preeclampsia, and pre-term birth. She has established a hypertension in pregnancy clinic at the Center for Women’s Health.
Dr. Jayaram is multilingual and is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam and basic Spanish.
