Serving with Heart: Our Urogynecology Team Brings Warmth and Comfort to The Guest House

On Thursday, April 10th, our Urogynecology team—Drs. Kobak, Pandya, Szlachta-McGinn, Iyer, and Lindsay Baukert, our dedicated Urogynecology ANP—came together to share more than just their medical expertise. With aprons on and hearts full, they volunteered to cook dinner for residents of The Guest House in Chicago.
The Guest House is a remarkable non-profit organization that offers safe, affordable housing to individuals and families receiving care at any Chicago-area hospital. Just two blocks from the University of Illinois Hospital, it serves as a home away from home during challenging times.
Our team prepared a comforting meal of baked mostaccioli, fresh side salad and rolls, and finished it off with warm chocolate chip cookies. It was a true team effort and a beautiful reminder that care doesn't stop at the clinic doors.
We’re honored to support such an inspiring mission. Volunteers at The Guest House help by cooking meals, assembling care packages, or hosting joyful activities like bingo nights. Learn more about how you can get involved: https://guesthousechicago.org/about-us-30
Together, we can continue making a difference—one meal, one smile, one act of kindness at a time.
