Qingfei was appointed as Research Assistant Professor

It is our great pleasure to announce that Dr. Qingfei Luo joined the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR) and the Department of Radiology as Research Assistant Professor. Qingfei received his PhD degree in Medical Physics from The University of Chicago, and completed his postdoctoral training in MRI at Stanford University under the tutelage of Professor Gary Glover. After a six-year tenure as an MRI physicist at Laureate Institute for Brain Research, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Qingfei joined UIC’s CMRR as a Research Scientist in February 2020. Qingfei's research has focused on functional MRI, fast MRI acquisitions, advanced image reconstruction, and deep learning. He serves as PI on one NIH grant and co-investigator on multiple other grants.
