Dr. Qian received his medical degree from Nanjing Medical University in China. He completed his neurosurgical residency and has practiced as an attending physician in China until 2013. Dr. Qian then came to the United States and completed his neurology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where he served as Chief Resident. After that, he completed a vascular neurology fellowship within the same institution. Now Dr. Qian practices in the Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation at UI Health and specializes in treating cerebrovascular disease. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
